Provision through Pizza

Don Mitchell began ministering in Hamilton County Jail in the early 90s. Through the years, he has served under different chaplains and we are so thankful for his willingness to serve alongside Prison Prevention Ministries.
At the end of each quarter, we celebrate the end of a seminar by giving out Completion Certificates to each inmate. Don goes above and beyond for his unit by bringing pizza.
"I had made arrangements a week in advance to have pizza ready for me to pick up Tuesday morning for the guys in Silverdale. I went in that morning to get it and they didn't know anything about it. I got out wondering around and stopped at a place in East Ridge. They had a two for one special. It ended up I got more pizzas than I originally ordered with less money. If I hadn't had done that I wouldn't have had enough pizza for all the guys that showed up. I told the guys 'the Lord sure was looking out for you.'"
This summer, Don experienced the provision of God through pizza. What seemed to be a human inconvenience, ended up being a divine intervention. No movement of God is too small! Thank you Don-we are blessed to have you!
