2 State 4 County Cycling/Running Event set for Saturday, August 1
The 2015 2 State 4 County registration is now open. A few changes from last year: we have added a great 68 mile route that stays with the 100 for 40 miles as requested by some of our riders last year, a 5K and 8K Run, and we've added "chip timing" to our event. We have dropped the 5 and 15 mile routes.
The second annual 2 State 4 County Pedaling for Prevention Family Bike Ride takes place along the scenic TN-GA borders.
Starting at Coahulla Creek High School in Dalton Georgia, you will cross multi-counties as you ride through forested ridges and rolling hills. Good paved roads follow gently flowing mountain streams as you pass through beautiful pasture land rich in Native American history.
The 35, 62, 68, and 100 mile rides take you by Red Clay State Historic Park, the seat of Cherokee government from 1832 until the start of the Trail of Tears in 1838.
As you complete your course, lunch will be served at Coahulla Creek High School, showers will be available and doors prizes may be picked up from 11AM - 4:PM.
This event includes well marked courses, sag support, door prizes, t-shirts and much more.
We do this because we believe in what we do! Helping youth make positive choices in their lives; helping inmates make positive changes thru Christ! Help us make a difference in our communities; join us as we "Pedal for Prevention" on August 1, 2015.
PPM is a Prevention Ministry - Preventing youth from going to prison; preventing inmates from returning to prison.
By helping youth make positive choices in their lives; helping inmates make positive changes thru Christ!
Our Vision is to offer prevention programs and life-skills seminars resulting in lowering incarceration rates among youth and recidivism rates among inmates.
